M2 macbook pro heating problem

While rendering videos, my MacBook can exceed 100 degrees and stays like that until the render is finished. Is this normal?

Yes, it's normal. Rendering and transcoding are very processor-intensive activities. Your Mac will throttle back the processors if necessary to keep temps within safe limits.
