Unrequested e-sim ready for activation

Hello community,

in my iPhone, I am constantly receiving notifications regarding esims ready to be activated. these esims come from the at&t operator which does not exist in my country. I think it is a security problem, no one can solve it, not even the apple store despite several appointments for assistance. Has this happened to anyone? I do not want to activate the esim operator plans, because I am afraid it could be a sim-swap.

What you are seeing is the result of a massive security leak at AT&T in the U.S. involving a subsidiary company called Cricket.

Because carriers share a lot of common information, the request to activate an eSIM has appeared on users phones and other carriers throughout the world.

Apple has nothing to do with this.

Just ignore the requests and eventually they will go away.
