Apple car play not working after 17.6.1

Have a brand new car for a month now car play been working seamlessly for the duration until update 17.6.1 what the ****?? I can’t send a message Siri opens but sits like a stunned banana not doing anything, can’t make a call can’t play audiobooks. I’m so angry . What’s the point of having hands free and pay so much money for iPhone for it not to work . Apple do better!!
