For those of you like me that cant get Appletv+ to work on your LG TV I have found a workaround. Go to a web browser or search and logon to TV.apple.com/ and that should do it. Still not sure how to save it so I have been logging on every time I want to watch Appletv+ but at least it works. Good luck and if you have an easier fix please post

I have a LG TV and have never had a problem with the Apple TV app. If you still had the LG TV, I would have recommended a Factory Reset on the TV. I have not experienced the problem with my TV, but others on the LG forums have said it solved their problem. In those cases it not only affected the Apple TV app, but also the Netflix app and the Factory Reset resolved the problem. Sorry I did not see your post yesterday.
You can also simply get an Apple TV box or any number of other streaming boxes. Much more elegant solution than doing the work around you have.
agreed but I put out a ton of cash for a new so called smart TV and the last thing I want to do is spend more money on yet another piece of electronic equipment just to make up for a incompetent TV manufacturer.
i came up with an even more elegant solution. I returned the LG to the store and got a TV running the Google OS and all is well.
Whatever. Apple TV's are only $129, it's a MUCH MUCH better experience than using Google OS.
