I am using an Apple Watch Series 3 and was wondering how long realistically I can expect it to work? I primarily use it for fitness monitoring and sleep as I always have my iPhone 12 with me for those functions.(messages, weather, music, podcasts email etc) The new watches are really expensive compared to FitBit or Garmin and I don’t trust Google. well the battery of cause will be the first to expire
my apple watch 4 batt is at 74% now they advice one get it replaced when it reach 80%
it's a question really how long a batt life one can accept vs. the cost of replacing it vs. the newer features of newer models
On the Watch, go to Setttings-> Battery -> Battery Health and scroll down a bit. That at least shows the max capacity on my later-model Watch. Your Series 3 might not offer that information.

Thanks! Can I see my watch battery life somewhere? I don’t see anything in settings. I now charge to 100% in the evening before bed so can get at least a day. But seems all watches have short battery life compared to Fitbit and Garmin. But Apple does a lot more.
I didn’t know that so thanks! Says my battery can charge to 100%. Still doesn’t last very long but serviceable.
