My iphone12 battery keeps swelling to the point it is now lifting both sides of my screen making them start to bend! The battery health went from 96% to now 92% real fast but for the battery to be this new should it be swelling ? As never had this problem before ! Is there any point getting a new apple battery replaced?

All batteries eventually fail, and swelling is one way they do. The battery will need to be replaced, not unusual after this many years. Out of pocket, the US, battery replacement by Apple will cost $89 (exclusive of any applicable taxes). Whether that's worth it will be up to you. I'm still quite happy with my iPhone 12 Pro, but you may wish to put the money toward a newer iPhone.

Please stop using that iPhone and make an appointment at the genius bar to have someone run diagnostics on it. The swollen battery can be dangerous. They can tell you if it's worth putting in a new battery.

The OP specifically stated they were using an iPhone 12. Always take the equipment listing at the bottom of the post with a grain of salt. It's frequently wrong.
