Iphone 13 battery swollen

Hello, my iPhone 13 battery has swollen and the display is lifting. I believe this is a battery defect. Can this be repaired or replaced free of cost by Apple?

Thank you for responding with your concerns, Karanbj.

Don’t expect a free battery because:

  1. An iPhone 13 is an outdated device
  2. The internal battery is a consumable item that has a limited lifespan

iPhone Battery Replacement:

Click Here for current Apple prices.

Your estimated cost: $89.

There is No charge for in-warranty or AppleCare+ plan.

ClickCheck AppleCare Coverage.

Click ▶︎ iPhone Battery Replacement.

Good luck! 👋🏼😉

About a Swollen Battery:

This has become a health hazard. As a result, you need to get this serviced, or see about getting a new iPhone.

A. Take to an Apple store:

You'd setup a Genius Bar Appointment at your local Apple Store, taking it in for service. There, it will be diagnosed, and you'll be provided with your options.

Or...

B. Take this to an AASP:

See an AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) in your local area...

Contacting an AASP:

  1. Go Here: Find Locations - Apple Authorized Reseller
  2. Click: Service & Support
  3. Enter: your location information
  4. See: if there is an AASP nearby
  5. Contact: an AASP that shows up, and find out more about the services that they offer to fix the iPhone
