Website only opens in Safari and not other browsers

I've been working on this customer's website for years (deborahking.***). A couple of days ago, I suddenly started seeing "It works" or This site can’t be reacheddeborahking.com refused to connect. Try: Checking the connection Checking the proxy and the firewall ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED in Chrome, DuckDuckGo, and Firefox, but I can reach the site in Safari. I've followed all the online troubleshooting suggestions (to list a few: cleared cache, reset settings, uninstalled & reinstalled browsers, cleared DNS, turned off firewall, verified IP not blocked on website server, reboot computer, connected to a different WiFi, reinstalled Mac OS, fixed disk, etc). I have colleagues, one on Mac & other on Windows, and they see the site in all browsers. So, all my troubleshooting has isolated it to my Mac, but I'm unable to identify what is blocking all but the Safari browser.

Do you have any sort of ad blockers in your copies of Firefox and Chrome? If so, have you tried disabling them to see if that makes a difference? Cookies limited or blocked or privacy setting turned up beyond normal?

If not, try creating another Mac user on your Mac, log into that account, and see if those browsers then work with that site. If it does, then the issue is limited to your normal user account. Delete Firefox and Chrome, go to your user library, and delete any and all files related to those browsers (for Firefox, look for both Firefox and Mozilla). Then reinstall and try again.

Hope this helps.

I'm pretty much baffled. The site also works for me with both Firefox and Chrome. Mozilla has some suggestions here:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1257093#:~:text=Clear%20the%20Cache%20and%20remove,button%20(Options%2FPreferences).&text=Start%20Firefox%20in%20Safe%20Mode%20to%20check%20if%20one%20of,is%20is%20causing%20the%20problem.

but it would seem unlikely that Chrome would have the same issues. Are you running any sort of firewall, antivirus, VPN or other security software?

Thank you for the reply. I did disable blockers. I also recently upgraded to Sequoia. I tried creating another Mac user and the results are always the same. Both Chrome & Firefox show It works! (<h1> setting seen in console) which appears to be some kind of OSX default when a website can't be reached... treating the site as if it doesn't exist. But, I can reach the site fine and even administer the site from Safari. I completely removed FF and Chrome, reinstalled, and it's all the same.
