Shouldn’t 8 month old iPhone 13 Pro battery be under warranty? My battery is at 80% and keeps shutting phone off.

In addition, if your battery health reaches 80% or below, Apple recommends you replace it. If you have AppleCare+, your battery will be replaced at no additional cost, otherwise $89 for your iPhone battery replacement.

Unless your phone sat in a warehouse for 18 months, the phone was not new when you purchased it.

I purchased a 13 Pro in December 2021, but continually had problems with it. I had AppleCare so they replaced it October 2023 with the current one that shuts down several
times a day even with 50-80% charge.
