How can I set the keypad to always show the numbers when making calls

Apple support's article: While on a call on iPhone - Apple Support

says how to:

"Use another app while on a call

1. Go to the Home Screen, then open the app.
2. To return to the call, tap the green call indicator at the top of the screen."

Else: Am no expert in this area, yet it seems if you use Assistive Access you have the option to have the keypad show and be used during calls: More info: About Assistive Access on iPhone - Apple Support
