My new MacBook Air won't print in color

Using HP Envy 7800 series printer. Ink cartridges are full. Print preview is in black and white. No option to change to color. Any help out there?

Remove the printer from  > System Settings > Printers & Scanners, then add it again and make sure you use the Bonjour/AirPrint option and not the HP drivers.

In addition the HP Smart app has an option to print a test page directly from the printer to see if that shows in color. The HP Smart app is needed to connect the printer to the internet, but other than that it is not so smart.
