taking a project from 96 to 44.1

hey board,

could someone explain how to reconfigure a project which contains a number of audio files recorded at 24/96. i'd like the project to run at 24/44.1 (for reasons to do with stability)

thankz ahead

two gr8 workarounds there, big thankz, i'll try the first method probably. didn't realize i could import/export frozen tracks. that makes a lot of sense

also i'll look more closely into the cpu usage around the situation and maybe come back 2 u when i have a clearer picture

good to have yr help on this xtra kl board, ta pal and thankz to all who advised

Byz--FYI, you're right that you can't exactly import/export frozen tracks--I don't know of any automatic way in Logic to import the actual freeze file. If you import a frozen track from another session into your current project, what will happen is that track will appear as a standard unfrozen track in your current project. At that point, though, you can click the freeze button and I think it will successfully freeze the track even if playback causes clicks and pops (this has been my experience with projects that overload the CPU, but given the trouble you've been having with your particular VIs, my advice isn't 100%)...

Good luck!
