icloud photos stuck on updating

Hello everyone, I have a iphone se 1st edition model MLLN2VC/A on ios 15.8.3 and I barely have any apps installed on it but I barely have any internal storage space left. It's showing that ios takes up 6.98 GB and system data takes up 5.45 GB of data. Combined it's 12.43 GB/16 GB total. The rest is around 3.57 GB free which is available to - telegram/instagram/snapchat. I don't even have any pictures or videos. But, when I enable icloud photos and take a photo, it takes forever for it to be uploaded to icloud and icloud photos under iphone storage has a spinning wheel that says "updating" without any progress. It's as if ios keeps making more and more system data without a way to delete it and it just overwhelmes the internal storage to the point that icloud thinks there's no more internal storage and won't sync and icloud photos won't upload.

What can I do about this complicated situation ?

"Ok, I've force restarted my iphone se, double checked the iphone storage and it says 14.2 GB of 16 GB storage left. No change in the system data and ios partition spaces. I've checked the photos app and icloud photos section under settings and it still says updating with the spinning loading wheel. If I delete all the social media apps, will the cache files also get deleted ?"

iCloud Photos Stuck in Uploading:

So, you have cleared the System Data, is that correct? With the specs you've provided, it seems you did. And no. Caches will not get deleted. Caches are there for use of use, so that apps open faster. If iCloud is stuck with this spinning gear, then it is still uploading all of this. So, ether wait it out, or do so by disabling Photos in iCloud Settings.

Disable Photos iCloud On your iPhone:

  1. Go to: Settings
  2. Tap: Name
  3. Tap: iCloud
  4. Tap: Photos so it reads "Off"

right now my iphone se is connected to 5 Ghz bandwidth wifi and powered with a charger and battery level is 55% the photos app is showing "updating" for the past 1 hour..nothing changed. I already have icloud photos turned on and logged into my icloud account. I've also logged out of all other devices using this apple ID. What battery percentage does it need to be ?
