Fitness app on the ipad

I notice that I get only the Fitness+ commercial for Apple's subscription service on the ipad instead of the useful Fitness app I enjoy on my phone. Is this part of a coordinated effort to disappoint customers?

OK, I see what you mean. The Fitness app on the iPhone is designed to sync with an Apple Watch, something which the iPad cannot do, or collect data from the iPhone itself. So they have different features. It would perhaps be less confusing if they were named somewhat differently. On the iPad you'd get most of that information in the Health app since it's through the Health infrastructure that all that fitness data would get to the iPad. Apple probably just didn't see any point in then passing it the iPad's Fitness app.

Regards.

Thanks for your response. I have that application too. The app on the iPhone that is called Fitness has a wealth of information useful to me. The app on the iPad has a title of Fitness + and has no useful information that I can find but instead contains advertisements for Apple’s subscription service. There is a difference. I don’t like it.
