Does the skin protector damage the MacBook?

recently I buy MacBook Air M3 and I used a skin protector after sometime some people told me that skin protector will damage the mac skin is this true or not

Can you please provide some additional details on what "skin protector" you are using with your MacBook Air? A link to where you got it would be very helpful.


Keep in mind that the MacBook Air does not employ fans. Instead, it relies on using passive heat sinks to dissipate any heat coming from its components. In turn this heat is transferred to the "skin" of the laptop. Placing an external skin, that covers most of the laptop's surface, could prevent proper heat dissipation.
