MacBook Pro Screen Went Black
My screen developed dark, sort of elliptical shadows coming from the bottom for a few days, and now the screen went black. Is it dead? My computer is very old.

I assume your LCD back light may be dead. You'd better take your MacBook Pro to your local retail AppleStore, Genius Bar or Apple Authorized Service Provider to be examined your display there.
