Did you purchase this directly from Apple or an Apple Authorized Reseller? If so, it could be an original Apple product; if not, then it could be a fake.


There is no way anyone here can tell you for sure, just looking at a box, if it is an original product or not. Even the serial number will not help as these can be faked.

IdrisSeabright pretty much summed it up. Unfortunately, Apple does not provide a means to check the product originality of their power adapters. If there is no Apple presence in your country, then chances are any Apple "products" would have to be obtained via a third party .... legally or not. Regardless, it is left to the buyer to determine if they got original product or not. There is nothing we, nor Apple can do, to assist you with this. Sorry.
