4TB SSD SanDisk Extreme external hard drive not mounting on Mac Studio Sonoma 14.6.1

This has been working with no issues for about a month or two. Now doesn't even show up and can't unlock. Tried mounting, tried another cable and another port, no luck. Had issue when I first purchased, but once I got it working, decided to keep it. As said, worked for before then just stopped a few days ago. Idea's? Thanks.

Contacted WD/SanDisk Support. Resolved to return disk under warranty. I erased all content. Took over 2 hours to complete a simple RMA (Return Material Authorization) due to requiring 2 different sign in's on WD and WD Support. Had issue with form entering data as it prefilled wrong info. More wasted time on their website than anything else. I was going to simply reformat after erasing and keep drive, but decided a replacement was better. Now have to send in old drive and wait for replacement. Without backup drive in meantime so hoping nothing else transpires in next week or two. Al, thanks again for response. (I should have clarified this was a SanDisk Professional G40)
