Macbook Pro 16-inch 2021 stopped charging after a software update

The Macbook Pro is getting worse day by day. I've been using a Macbook Pro 16-inch 2021 for a month. Yesterday, a software update happened and suddenly, the charging stopped! I know this isn't a hardware issue as the charging keeps coming intermittently.

Are you saying you're new to macOS(?)

or you're more than familiar with the "battery health management" and how it works...

or this is a new issue?

The rule of thumb—if you are near the mains leave it plugged in, if you need the portability then run on the battery only—this is how you help optimize your battery charging and extend the working life of your battery by reducing the cycle count.

To trouble shoot further you can:

—A SafeBoot Use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support will sort many anomalies

Does a quick disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, third party system modifications and system accelerations are disabled temporarily.

Login and test. Reboot as normal and test. Caches get rebuilt automatically.

This test will tell you if third party interference; most extensions etc are not loaded in safe boot mode.

—Test issue in another user (or guest user) account Change Users & Groups settings on Mac - Apple Support

This will tell you if it a universal issue or isolated to your user/admin account.

unplug all non-essential peripherals when testing

Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/VPN/Anti-Virus

all known to cause issues on the macOS
