Saving a transparent art piece on my iPad appears white

So, I do art and stuff, and whenever I save a transparent art piece on my iPad, and it syncs to my phone, it appears white, the background i mean.

but then suddenly, when I’m downloading images from a Google Drive link, everything’s fine and transparent.

I tried doing the same thing, saving it as a PNG, and then saving it to google drive, then saving it back on my iPad, it won’t work. I fiddled around with the settings, changing things like the optimize iPad storage thing, but nothing works. I even tried emailing the photos to myself but literally nothing seems to work. Not even the convert image to transparent thing works. Does anyone have a solution at all??????

I haven't used transparent much lately, so I'm not sure I'm understanding. It seems like white may just be the way the iPad is rendering "transparent?" Another program I use shows the transparent area as gray. I tried making a png file with transparency on my Mac, and I saved it to iCloud Drive. Then I looked at it on my iPhone and iPad, and the only difference was that white was used instead of gray. I just looked directly at the file-- I didn't try to view it in Photos, since Photos doesn't do transparent. The file itself, when loaded again on my Mac, still has transparent areas.

What apps are you using?

I think that when you're sending this art to places you may have to get what you want and flatten it before sending. "jpeg" is pretty much the standard for transmitting images, and as you know (since you're using png) jpeg doesn't do layers and transparency.

Using Photos and an example, it looks to me like when I import a picture to Photos, it seems to work OK, but exporting it flattens the picture even in png format.( Of course, Photos always keeps the original, so exporting the original keeps the transparency.) Are you sure Instagram can use images with layers or transparency?

Yeah, the white is in a way a way that my iPad’s rendering transparency, and when I do use said transparent photos in messages, it’s transparent, but when I use it on instagram messages or something like that, it’s not transparent. I’m not sure how to fix this problem to make it both visibly transparent on both devices.

I’m not sure what you mean by what apps I’m using, but I guess right now I’m just using Procreate and IbisPaintx export transparent photos.
