Fraud text as Apple Billing

Yea i got the exact same text message with the exact same dollar amount. ($143.95). This was last week. Now just 5 minutes ago i got another attempt with (($169.95). Same thing.

That same text has been circulated since August. Millions have probably received it. If just 1/10 of 1% responded, that’s 1000 compromised accounts. It’s strictly a numbers game.

Thanks for the fraud update I received 2 messages today and almost called the number. Something just felt odd so I looked up to see if anyone else received the same. Thanks again for posting this

It is indeed a scam attempt.

I got the same text what tipped me off was the the sender’s information email was a Hotmail address

The numbers are spoofed. It doesn't matter where it says they came from.

I just barely got a fraudulent message from Maine USA that I paid 236.00 dollars I never paid that amount of money or make that kind of payment.

Also some suspicious sign in request and apple pay activation request detected. That looks like suspicious to us. In order to maintain the security and privacy of your account we have placed those request on hold. If NOT you? talk to an Apple Representative. Failing may lead to auto debit and charge will not be reversed. Call +1 877***9*** immediately to cancel this charge.

Yes, it is a scam, as you would have known if you had read ANY of the posts other than the one you responded to.
