Mac Book Pro - moving cursor / objects and clicking sound

Intermittently the cursor on my Mac Book Pro starts moving on its own through text.

Objects also randomly move across the screen.

The top menu sometimes flashes when I scroll over it and there can be a continuous clicking sound - Without me doing anything... Please help!

iPhone 15, iOS 17

you do not say what exact Mac is this..

however it sounds to me the battery is expanding and impacting the touchpad. Not good

look for any external sign of seam separation or not sitting flat on the table?

I can get bad quickly. unplug the external power supply.
