How to fix my Mac mini frozen at the login screen

I have a Mac Mini(the old version) and when I was doing stuff it randomly froze. I tried to unplug and plug back in to try to completely restart it but it’s still frozen just on the log in screen. Mouse is still working but no clicks will register. I am sure it isn’t a mouse issue cause it was working on my laptop.

Power off & try Safe Boot...

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode? Could take 10 minutes or more.

Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches & loads safe Drivers, & prevents loading of 3rd party extensions, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.
