My MacBook Air charger is broken

I purchased a laptop from you 1 year ago, but the cable I use to charge my laptop is broken. The pad itself works great, but the charger itself has a crack in it. Could you guys still do something with warranty? I think a charger should last longer than 1 year!

Please Help.... My computer has been repaired by Apple FIVE times since I purchased it in March 2023. It is now broken for the sixth time, and my warranty has expired. I have a 2022 MacBook Air with the M2 chip, and overall, it has worked well. However, my charger has failed for the SIXTH time. In my previous five visits to the Apple Store Genius Bar, the employees couldn't identify the root cause of the issue. Typically, they would replace the charging cable, and they have also changed the adapter and the duckhead. However, after a couple of weeks, it would start flashing orange and then stop working altogether. Approximately 3.5 months ago, an employee decided the MagSafe charging board needed to be replaced. At that time, my warranty had expired, and I had firmly explain that this was a manufacturing issue and I should not be responsible for the cost considering the number of repairs that occurred during my warranty period. They complied and covered the cost. Well.. MY CHARGER STOPPED WORKING AGAIN. I'm unsure what to do at this point. Given my history with this computer, it's clear that it's faulty, and I don’t want to spend own money to fix the same issue, only to have it happen again.

FYI you are not addressing Apple on this website. If you purchased your Mac from Apple, Contact Apple.

The power adapters and cables that Apple includes with Macs are covered under the same AppleCare warranty as the Mac.
