I'm looking for a way to be able to turn off my kids ask to buy as my iPad has broke and now don't have any apple products and I was set up as the parent/guardian

There is not, a child of 6 cannot have their own Apple ID that is not part of a Family Plan and the Ask to Buy feature is on by default for anyone under the age of 13. You will need a device to change this. You also cannot remove a child from a Family Plan, they have to be transferred to another Family.

It depends on the age of your kids. If your kids are 13 or older, they are old enough to get their own purchases. And if they’re not old enough, you can’t turn it off.
My daughter is 6. Is there no way I can change it ?
Is there away I can change it to my wife who is also on the same family. The parent /guardian only shows me on it
