My output from FCP has intermittent places with pink and green dots. Screen shots attached.
I am using the latest version of FCP.
The original footage is RED.

Are you using the Scene Removal Mask? Sometimes when I export a video containing the Scene Removal Mask green and red lines appear on the screen in the export.
So it’s not just on export.
I believe RED material requires a plugin, am I right? If that is the case, make sure that you have the most recent version of both FCP and the plugin.
Do these clips play in Quicktime Player, and if so do they also show the same problem there? Or in VLC?

Ok so I think it has something to do with RAM memory - when i restart the computer it seems to fix the issue for a quite a while before popping up again. I have 16gb of ram and 2.3gh 8core processor.
Start by deleting all render files.
What are your export settings?
Does exporting in ProRes also cause these artifacts?
Thank you Luis. Issue persists. Render files deleted. Exporting prores. The artifacts occur within FCP too.
Anyone else here who can help please?
Unfortunately .RED files don't play in either QT or VLC. They only play in the editing software with the RED plugin.
