M1 Macbook Air freezing randomly

My M1 Macbook Air randomly freezes. The mouse still moves, but none of the clicking works and the keyboard stops working. This happens when apps that don't consume power are open, like Zoom, the Microsoft productivity apps, etc. On Chrome, only a couple of tabs are open at max. It doesn't happen in any app in particular, and switching between apps using the 3-fingers swipe works, and the tasks given are nothing demanding: simple scrolling or switching tabs. This happens when I am opening the mac too. It solves itself automatically after a few minutes, but for those few minutes, I can't do any work. Does anyone have any solutions?

it could be a software issue or memory management glitch. First, ensure macOS is up to date, as updates often fix bugs.

You can also try resetting the NVRAM and SMC, which control hardware settings, by restarting your Mac. Check for any app or extension that may be causing conflicts, and try disabling unnecessary startup programs.

If the issue persists, consider booting in Safe Mode to see if a third-party app is causing the freezes.

I am up to date with the latest OS. I have restarted my computer multiple times, but the issue still persists. Could you please tell me how I can check if any app or extension is causing conflicts, or if a startup program is unnecessary? I'll try to eliminate those issues first. If these glitches continue to occur, I'll resort to using the safe mode.
