Should I preorder the iPhone at 5 AM tomorrow or go to the store on the 20th to get it? Which is the fastest or the safest way to secure it?

I would presume that pre-orders are prioritized over in-store ad-hoc shoppers (“safest way” and likely “fastest” as well).
