I have gmail on my iPhone, iPad, and MacBook. When I send a gmail from any device they appear in all the other devices. However, when I delete the MacBook deleted gmail does not delete from my iPhone. Why ? I have checked my settings and it is on IMAP

That's the issue, the All Trash mailbox is an 'On my Mac' mailbox, so they're being copied there but left in the Inbox on the Gmail server. Set it to the [Gmail]/Trash mailbox and when you delete them on your Mac, they'll be moved to the Trash mailbox on Gmail's servers and be there (i.e. deleted) on all your other devices.
On the Mac, what trash folder is selected in Mail > Preferences > Gmail account > Mailbox behaviors?
