Wireless car charging with iPhone14

I bought a brand new car and paid more for the upgrade of wireless charging. To my dismay it won’t work because of the thick camera lens on the phone.

I bought a MagSafe case and even added the magnetic sticker that came with the case for cases without a built in magnetic. It still wouldn’t work.

My question is, with the new iPhone 16, will this still be an issue? I just looked at the lens on both the Pro and Plus and they still look like they protrude too much to charge wirelessly.

This has been a known issues for people for over a year now, so why hasn’t Apple done something to address this issue??

It's NOT an Apple issue. It is an issue with the car's wireless charging system. Many of which won't work with iPhone and in many cases Android or Google phones. For example, I had a Genesis GV70, which wouldn't work with my iPhone 15 Pro Max. The car was recently bought back by Genesis and I chose a Mazda CX70 and my phone charges just fine in the Mazda. Apple really has nothing to do with the design of the car chargers out there, many of which use a single, cheap low grade Qi coil in their cars.
