Forgotten Apple ID password.
my wife’s iPhone has become unpaired from her Apple Watch. I have tried to pair it, but have forgotten her Apple ID password. What can we do?

Tell her to check her web browser autofill entries, the Keychain, and other records, or use Apple's iForgot service, or contact their Account Security team, or if you've encountered the activation lock, tell the unit's original owner to click here and submit an unlock request.
