Suspicious Account Recovery

In January of 2024 I kept receiving a notification on my iPhone and MacBook to either “allow” or “don’t allow” a password reset. I always would reject it and call Apple to ask what was going on. Not long after I received an email stating an account recovery was requested and unless cancelled would allow this hacker to gain full access to my account within 15 days. I called Apple and they helped me cancel it. Over the past few months I suffered a tragic incident and was without both devices. During this time this individual was able to process an account recovery and ruin my life! I wish I would have written down the number that was in that email, but now it is showing an account recover a number ending in “44”, which is not mine and now I cannot access anything. If anyone received an email that has this full number it would be greatly appreciated (if it was the same that attempted yours), Apple should allow it to be shared on these threads so those of us hacked can take back what is rightfully ours!
