Iphone storage is full after deleting prores videos

Hi,

yesterday we’ve done some interview shootings. All went well, until a moment when our company’s iPhone 15 pro max did not release the storage after deleting ProRes videos (also from the recently deleted).

So I deleted around 70-80gb of videos that should have given me about 13 minutes of ProRes time, however the phone showed me only 3 minutes.

This happened twice. First I restarted the phone and it solved the issue, second time restarting it did not work.

Under storage it showed with black around the same size 70gb system data. I thought that was the cache, what I deleted before, however I was unable to release it.

As a conclusion, we lost almost 20 minutes of time and we had to shoot 2 interviews normal settings.

Have you experienced this before?

Is there a fix for this?
