I turned on Switch Control so I can just scan with Face ID, now the scanning box curser thing won’t go away.

I turned on switch control so I can just scan with Face ID to download apps & make purchases. Now the scanning box curser thing won’t go away.

No clue what it is or why but it’s called “curser” in settings. I have all the settings on “stop automatically scanning” and all that. There’s a setting to have the colour as “none”. I did that and it still won’t go away. How do I get rid of it? I don’t need or want my phone to highlight buttons. I have it on auto hide as well but it keeps popping up EVERY TIME I OPEN ANYTHING!!

also I actually can’t comprehend what idiot gave the go-ahead to change all
