What do the different iMessage bubble colors indicate?

Why do some people have blue bubble i message and another has grey some times blue now they are green with sent as text message i turned of send as text message if i message not available it sent green nothing else

Here’s what the different iMessaging bubbles mean ⇢

Blue iMessage bubbles ⇢ Messaging through Apple’s iMessage
Green iMessage bubbles ⇢ MMS/SMS messaging through your carrier
Gray iMessage bubbles ⇢ All incoming messaging

Most of the time, your messaging bubbles should be blue, except when you’re texting with a non-Apple user or have poor network connection.
