How to remove a pin in Maps?

You have to first click on the pin to open it, then scroll down the pin until you see Remove. It does work on Sonoma just as Barney says it does.

Try > Control (right) click on it in the sidebar list > then click Delete.

Click on it, scroll down to the bottom of the window that pops up and click Remove.

Look closely at what you have there. You searched for that location and Siri created a "suggestion." Those do not have the Remove option at the bottom of the popup. You should be able to delete it from the sidebar as den.thed noted. The pin won't go away until you click somewhere else on the map.

After you have removed the item from Recents.

Try moving to a different location, then back.

If that doesn't help, quit and re-open Maps.

Just did it when I verified it for the post.

Perhaps another way to try

On the Drop Pin in Maps

Top Menu >> Edit >> Remove Pin

Tested on Sonoma 14.6.1
