using cell for internet but ipad wants wifi

I connect by cellular, but sometimes get "no internet connection" messages. I don't use wifi and don't want to.

That would probably be an issue with your cell carrier. If you're not in an area with a strong signal and a clear tower, that can happen. There may be little or nothing your carrier can do other than tell you to move to an area with a stronger signal or get a booster, but contact them anyway.


If you can verify that you have a strong signal but you're still having problems (for instance, it happens no matter where you are, even in an area where others using your same cell carrier are having no problems), post back with more details - your exact iPad model, what version of iPadOS it's running, what the cell strength bars are showing, etc. - and someone may have advice.
