how does the fact that the date of purchase of the iPhone is April 1, 1978 affect its operation, is it worth changing such an iPhone, will it work properly?

I bought an iPhone 14 pro, the date of purchase is April 1978.

Now I'm wondering if it's worth replacing this iPhone with a simple 15.

From where and from whom did you purchase this device? You may think you bought an

iPhone 14 Pro but it may in fact be a counterfeit Android phone made to look like an iPhone. The manufacturing date is the key here. iPhones didn't even exist until 2007. This means the device you bought has been tampered with and altered. If it were me I’d return it and try to get my money back. I think you’ve been scammed.

That most likely indicates a repaired or refurbished iPhone, probably done by a third-party service provider. Just having an invalid date of purchase will not in and of itself affect how the iPhone operates. However, you have no idea what was done to the iPhone and whether in any repair genuine Apple parts were used, so its overall operation and long-term reliability is unknown. It's also unknown where Apple or an authorized Apple service center would work on it should repairs be needed.

Up to you whether to replace it. If it seems to be working, then unless there's some feature or capability in the iPhone 15 that you want or you want to get a new iPhone so you have a full Apple warranty and support, then replacing the iPhone 14 is probably unnecessary right now.

Regards.
