Unable to update Logic Pro 10 to 11

Attempting to update Logic Pro from 10 to 11. Running Sonoma 14.6.1, have Apple M1 Pro chip, and have free storage on MacBook Pro. Currently running Logic 10.7.7. When I go to update in the app store I don't see a prompt to update Logic. What am I missing here? Thanks in advance.

Logic Pro 12 released, back up your current version Logic Pro 12 is out. Don't forget to backup your current version before updating. You could rename it and put it back to your Application folder. Sometimes you have to trigger the update manually by removing the Logic app into the trash bin. Then login to the appstore with your AppleID.

It's recommended to zip the old version on your computer (or create a backup) before updating Logic, so that you can use both versions later.
