I keep getting new emails notifications and vibration in Gmail app despite Sleep and Silent mode is on. It’s the only app that is sending notifications when every other apps are muted. How do I turn them off in Sleep/Silent mode?

Why do I contact google if it’s Apple that allows notifications to go through? I don’t disable notifications in other apps, they’re disabled by Apple in the Sleep/Silent mode so why does Google has to have a “separate” disable function
