Notifications break through Sleep Focus settings
These are some of my Sleep Focus settings yet notifications from other apps continue to break through and awaken me at night. What am I doing wrong?

Check the settings for the apps that are breaking through. Settings>Notifications><App Name>. Do you have Critical Alerts turned on? They will sound even if not explicitly enabled in the Focus.

I'd try deleting the Focus and setting it up again.

I’m experiencing the same annoying issue. Since the iOS 26 update and then updates to 26.1 and 26.2, unauthorized notifications are breaking through Sleep Focus and waking me up; truly disruptive. Last night it was a spam Message notification at 5:00 am. Critical Alerts and Time Sensitive Notifications are disabled for all applications. Only three family members and a smoke alarm app are set up to bypass Sleep Focus mode. This behavior very clearly coincides with iOS 26.x. I will be forced to sequester iPhone, iPad, and Watch in a separate room to avoid disturbances in the middle of the night. Of course doing this will disable Apple Watch sleep monitoring functions.
Have you tried deleting the focus and re-creating it?
To any Apple Developers who may read this post: This is simply crazy. Please fix it.
That would be zero. Apple doesn't read here in this user-to-user forum for feedback or suggestions. You can let them know your thoughts here:
You might want to consider the fact that your problem is shared by only a small number of people. And the problem may or may not be caused by the same thing in each case. I understand that doesn't make it any easier for you but it also means that Apple can't just "fix it." The onus for troubleshooting is on you.

How sad a situation it has become when what used to be the most innovative and user-focused technology company on the planet sheds responsibility for annoying bugs it created onto the user. Truly disheartening.

This is not new. The onus for troubleshooting your device has always been on you. No company, not even Apple makes a 100% perfect device or system. And that's before users add things and do unexpected things. It's disheartening to me when adults don't realize that.
If you don't want to try to help yourself, I'm certainly not going to try to help you, either.
Best of luck.
No, it's off. The particular app in question is YoLink which manages a hub for various devices (e.g. wireless freezer/fridge thermometers).
Thx. Will give that a go.
Your “Level 10” reply was nothing short of arrogant.

Facts cannot be "arrogant."
