Why am I getting notifications on sleep mode from someone who is not added to allowed contacts?

Hi so i’ve used the sleeping focus before and i always make sure that only notifications from family come through. But recently a friend who sing apart of the allowed to send notifications has been notifying me which is very irritating when im trying to sleep. But it doesn’t do it for anyone else who is also not on the allowed notifications list. I have tried deleting and re-adding the sleep focus but nothing.

With "Share Focus Status" enabled, when you receive a text message, the sender is informed that you have notifications silenced. They are given the choice to override this by selecting "Notify Anyway." If the sender opts for this, you will receive the notification, even if you have silenced notifications for all.
