So far, what seems to help is allowing extra seconds for the connection to take place. I will open the AirPod case, wait for the pic to appear and then wait for the pic to animate. Then I take the earbuds out of the case and again wait for the pic to change. Then, I place the earbuds in my ears and that usually works. If I try to go faster than that (like I used to be able to), then I only get to play music while all other Siri/AirPod functions are not available. If I wait like described, then I get full functionality most every time.

My AP2 show up on every other device but my TV refuses to see them half the time and the other half refuses to connect. It’s weird
Just today I updated my iPhone to 18.1. Ever since my AirPods stopped charging the left pod. I never had this issue. Nor it’s shown in AirPods settings.

I see a few people said to turn vocal shortcuts off. What is vocal shortcuts was off?

Same issue even with IOS 18.1. The airpods pro 2 are useless at this point. This needs to be fixed by SW/FW ASAP!
I also have this issue with two sets of airpods. It's a constant battle to get them to connect. They will disconnect randomly while on a call as well. It started after I updated to 18.
How do they not fuzz for stuff like this
