Why can't I update my iPhone to iOS 18?

I've just had my new I phone 15 pro max delivered and when setting up it requires IOS 18 to be installed. However after doing the initial installation and before it turns off and goes to the loading bar it just gets stuck on the installation page. Like I've waited 2 hours and no change. Please help

I can’t seem to locate the latest iOs 18, am stuck with 17.7 my phone tells me it’s the latest, please assist

I had the developer beta, now I’m stuck on 18.1 iOS and can’t get the official version ? When will the “second round of iOS 18” come around? I own the iPhone 15 pro max if that any help.

How is no one replying to this one? It has the most upvotes. I’m in the same boat. I’m on the iOS beta and won’t let me update to the “official” iOS 18. It’s says it’s available but will say the “update failed”.

i did that but it said ios 18 ios is up to date but i dont have all the features.

Look at the bottom of the screen for the 17.7 update. There should be an iOS 18 update button there.

Do you do the public betas? If so, check to see if the "public beta" button is switched to off. Mine was on and once I turned it off, the IOS 18 update showed up on the bottom of my screen.

I have been facing this problem, i wanted to download the ios 18 but, sadly my beta updates was on and i've downloaded the beta update which was iOS 18.0 (22A3354). Last 4 days, Idk how to fix, i tried everything.

hey I found my solution so imma share it with you. Tap your beta in the update section. Change it to 18. That fixed mine. Didn’t know that was there.

Be patient. Millions of users are trying to update.

iOS 17.7 contains all of the new security updates included with iOS 18, so if you want to wait a bit to install iOS 18, run the 17.7 update.

Look past the 17.7 update to see if the iOS 18 update is there.

I know why. It's because so many people are trying to download it, and it's overloading the servers. If you wait a couple of days, it will only take 15 minutes, maybe even less. So, you can wait now or you can wait later.

I have the same! I Can not set up My new phone because ios wont finish the upload
