Why can't I update my iPhone to iOS 18?
I’m trying to update my phone. I have a 13 Pro Max. I’m only seeing iOS 17.7 and not 18. How do I get the 18?

hey!! i had the same issue, and then i made sure to click the betas tab and turn it off, and then ios 18 became available to me. you may have ios 17 beta selected, and that’s what stopped it from bringing up ios 18 for me.

I succeeded when I first downloaded the IOS 18, and only after that I paired my own old phone. I found this trick in Reddit, and it worked perfectly

Apparently you missed the part of the beta agreement where it explains you can't discuss or get help for a device running the beta...

I don’t know how you could. You can update an iPhone 8 Plus to the latest release of iOS 16. You cannot update that phone to iOS 17 or higher.
No not there and my 14 pro max will not update to 17.7 either
