Apple Intelligence is now available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac!
I am using a MacBook Pro with an M2 processor. The region is set to the United States, the language is English (U.S.), and the Siri language is also English (U.S.). Despite this, the Apple Intelligence feature did not arrive with the new update. What could be the reason for this?

AI is only in Sequoia 15.1 which has not been released yet.
When will the Apple Intelligence update be released? It said it would be released in early October, but it's October 21, and I still can't find it. Please let me know if anyone knows when it's released or how to get it.
Apple Intelligence for any Apple operating system will not arrive until sometime in October.

If you had iOS v15.1 beta, it might have featured Apple Intelligence, but it is not in the shipping iOS v18.0, or v18.0.1.

You can't find it because it hasn't yet been released. There are still nine days left in October.
No one here in this user-to-user forum would know anything that Apple hasn't yet announced.
IDK about mac, i'm working so i cant update now, but for iPhone 18.1 does NOT give you AAI. You have to go into settings and select "Join Waitlist" which is disturbing since 18.1 was the promised date of AAI. Based on the written included features in the update 18.1 right now essentially does nothing.

Just so you know, there are more features that are still coming out. For a refresher they announced Apple Intelligence on June 10 with just some of its features coming out this fall and restricted to English language at first. If you watched the video linked previously where they launched Apple Intelligence, it makes it clear that it will be a gradual roll out with some features first becoming available this fall and others with later updates. This is straight from Apple, so if you got different information from another source, then that could explain the difference in your expectations.

All I can tell you is there were a number of contributors here on ASC that updated to 18.1, signed into the wait list and received the download. I don't have an iPhone that supports AI so I can't personally check. Are you in the U.S.? I believe someone in Canada has not received the AI update.
FWIW, Apple hasn't announced the exact date but, they have said iOS 18.1 will be released next week. Oct 28th perhaps.
