I am using a MacBook Pro with an M2 processor. The region is set to the United States, the language is English (U.S.), and the Siri language is also English (U.S.). Despite this, the Apple Intelligence feature did not arrive with the new update. What could be the reason for this?

Apple Intelligence for any Apple operating system will not arrive until sometime in October.

I am using a MacBook Pro with an M1 Pro from 2021. I updated this morning The region is set to the United States, the language is English (U.S.), and the Siri language is also English (U.S.). Despite this, the Apple Intelligence feature did not appear.
It worked for both my Ipad and iPhone but not the Mac. What could be the reason for this?
Did anyone ever answer this question? I have read the comments but see no answer to the question. I have updated my M2 Macbook pro and M2 Mac Air, but there is no option for Apple Intelligence or an option to get on the waitlist. Please help me understand what I need to do to get this feature.

But i had it on my phone and it was working but now with the ne update it went a way not happy at all
If you had iOS v15.1 beta, it might have featured Apple Intelligence, but it is not in the shipping iOS v18.0, or v18.0.1.
FWIW, Apple hasn't announced the exact date but, they have said iOS 18.1 will be released next week. Oct 28th perhaps.
FWIW, it takes a few minutes after signing in to the wait list to get AI.
First, you have to have an Apple Silicon Mac. Second, AI won't be available to EU countries until next year for iPhones and iPads.
Although It can be utilised on other compatible Apple devices.
Both of which I have done... with an M3 chip.... fully updated... No evidence of any AI anywhere??

I just updated my MacBook Pro with an M1 chip from 2021 to macOS Sequoia 15.1. Region set to US, and all languages set to English (US). No AI thus far.
Apple's got a lot of answers to give.
