How to remove reminders linked to Calendar?

The instructions have been given several times in this thread. But here you go:

1. Open Calendar
2. Tap "Calendars" at the bottom center of the screen.
3. Untick "Schedule Reminders"

I'm not sure how to make it any simpler than that. However, it you have problems, please post back exactly where you get lost.

You mean like I posted yesterday, complete with screenshot?

If you open the calendar app, at the bottom of the screen you’ll see the word calendars. If you tap that, all the calendars you’ve created or subscribed to will show up. One of those will say “reminders”. If you click to turn that one off, the reminders will go away.

There is no Sidebar on an iPhone. There have been instructions in this thread for Macs and iPads as well.

Open Calendar

Tap "Calendars" at the bottom center of the screen.

Untick "Schedule Reminders"

Tap calendars at the bottom of the page and you can turn it off.

1. Calendars
2. View
3. Show Calendar List
4. Deselect Scheduled Reminders

They are linked to your calendar whether you like it or not if they have dates. However, you don't have to see them in Calendar if you don't want. Untick the "Scheduled Reminders" calendar. How you do that will depend on the device(s) you're using.

It’s “Scheduled Reminders” in the Calendar List for me to check off— and waaaayyyyy down toward the bottom under “Other”.

You need to make all the options unchecked by clicking “show all” or “hide all”

Figured it out….Open the Mac Calendar…Under the “View" dialog box, select “Show Calendar Events”. On the left window, deselect the reminders box. This will eliminate the reminders from your calendar. Under the “View" dialog box select “Hide Calendar List” to close the side window. Easy fix.

I have IOS 18 loaded on both my Mac and IPad and the way to remove the calendar reminders is the same.

I assume it will be the same for the phone.

Open the sidebar by clicking on the icon on the top left that looks like a keyboard.

Under “other”

Click on "Scheduled Reminders" and the pesky reminders will be gone!

Go to Settings/apps/calendar/accounts and delete the subscribed spam calendar.
