what are the merchant fees when using a debit card
It doesn’t matter if you are a merchant accepting Apple Pay or a customer using Apple Pay to complete transactions, there are no extra fees for using Apple Pay.

No, Apple Pay is free for the merchant and the card holder. The fees are charged to the bank and they gladly accept the fee for the reduced incidence of credit card fraud Apple Pay provides.
Thank you for replying but perhaps my question was not clear.
I was not asking about fees for the Apple Pay user, but rather how much a merchant is charged for accepting Apple Pay.
The merchant will definitely pay a fee if the Apple Card, or any other CC, is used a the source in Apple Pay. But my doubt is what would be that fee, if any, if Apple Cash or a debit card is used as the source in Apple Pay.
