Siri stopped talking after iOS 18 update

I have the same issue and I did everything you all have done and still nothing.

I'm afraid that did not work on my iphone 16 pro. Any other suggestions? Thanks for your help.

I would ask Siri a question and it would not respond no matter what I ask. I’d wait for a reply. Not sure if it heard or what. But it would answer.

same here tried all the suggestions and nada. Siri won't repeat text before sending i hope 18.1 fixes this madness

Same problem & is very frustrating!! That was probably my most used command. I hope they fix it soon. I wish I could undo the update.

I’ve done that and more. Siri still does not respond when I request anything.

On my phone that did not work for WEATHER

There is no “Talk to Siri” option. There is a “TYPE to Siri” option, but as others have reported that does not work. 🤷‍♂️

I am having the same issue. Setting is fine but siri is not responding properly. I just purchased 16plus

I have “prefer spoken responses” on and still does not fix the problem for me.
